
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will be traveling to France and Belgium between June 8th and 14th to bolster relationships and discuss key strategic issues. The trip includes meetings with French and Belgian officials, as well as the first ministerial strategic dialogue with the EU’s Kaja Kallas. Jaishankar will meet with French Foreign Minister Jean Noel Barrot in Paris and Marseille. He will also participate in the Mediterranean Raisina Dialogue in Marseille and engage with French think tanks. These interactions will provide opportunities to discuss India’s counter-terrorism strategies. In Brussels, Jaishankar will hold strategic talks with Kaja Kallas, the EU High Representative, and engage with the European Commission and Parliament, including meetings with think tanks. During his visit to Belgium, he will also hold discussions with Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot. The visit is aimed at deepening cooperation in various areas, strengthening partnerships with France, Belgium, and the EU.
