India’s military leadership is sending a clear and firm message to Pakistan: further aggression will be met with decisive action. Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has declared that India’s armed forces are fully prepared for ‘Operation Sindoor 2.0’, signaling a readiness for a second phase of retaliation. During his address at Sainik School, Rewa, the General emphasized the collective strength of India’s defense chiefs, including Air Force Chief Air Marshal AP Singh and Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi, as a powerful deterrent. The initial ‘Operation Sindoor’, initiated in May as a response to Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, continues to be active. General Dwivedi stressed that India controls the cessation of this operation, stating, “We will stop Operation Sindoor at an appropriate time.” This statement highlights India’s strategic control and its commitment to achieving its objectives. The Chief’s warning was direct: any “cowardly act” by Pakistan will result in a “befitting reply,” underscoring India’s resolve to protect its national security interests and respond robustly to provocations.
