
A Pakistani national, Hanif Khan, has been apprehended in Jaisalmer by the Rajasthan CID Intelligence, accused of espionage for the ISI. The charges involve the transmission of sensitive information related to the Indian Army. The CID Intelligence has registered a case under the Official Secrets Act, 1923. The investigation focused on Hanif Mir Khan, 47, residing in Mohangarh, Jaisalmer. The investigation was initiated after the authorities noted his contact with the Pakistani intelligence agency via social media. Khan, a resident of Bahla village close to the India-Pakistan border, had free movement in the border areas. Interrogation revealed his knowledge of important military installations and troop movements. Furthermore, during Operation Sindoor, he reportedly shared information on troop movements with a Pakistani handler.
