
As India celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day, the BJP organized a yoga session at Ghanta Ghar in Srinagar’s Lal Chowk. The event saw participation from party members, locals, and yoga enthusiasts. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the main Yoga Day observance in Visakhapatnam, addressing a large gathering. The Prime Minister emphasized yoga’s role in fostering unity and health. He lauded the Andhra Pradesh government for hosting the event, which featured a mass yoga session with a large turnout. This year’s theme, ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health,’ reflects India’s vision of global wellness. The declaration of June 21 as International Yoga Day by the United Nations, initiated by India, was also recalled.
