
External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, during discussions, affirmed India’s steadfast policy of zero tolerance against terrorism, emphasizing the need for partner nations to understand this position. He extended thanks to the United Kingdom for its strong condemnation of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and its solidarity with India in combating terrorism. Jaishankar clearly articulated that India would not allow perpetrators of evil to be considered on par with their victims. He also highlighted the recent finalization of the India-UK FTA and the Double Contribution Convention as a significant achievement, anticipating increased trade, investment, and the strengthening of strategic aspects of the bilateral relationship, including supply and value chains.
