
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will visit France and Belgium from June 8 to June 14. The trip is aimed at reinforcing bilateral relations and addressing India’s policy against terrorism. The visit includes meetings with French and Belgian foreign ministers and a strategic dialogue with the EU’s Kaja Kallas. In France, Jaishankar will participate in the Mediterranean Raisina Dialogue and discuss the 25th anniversary of the India-France strategic partnership. In Brussels, the minister will meet with key figures from the European Commission and Parliament, as well as hold discussions with the Belgian Foreign Minister. The goal is to enhance cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, and green energy, and to solidify ties with both the EU and individual countries.
