
The free health camp organized by St. Columbus Mission Hospital, situated opposite the Bijli Office on Ravindra Path, concluded with great success, offering free medical care to 1323 patients. The event, spanning two days, saw a significant turnout of those in need, with 651 individuals treated on the first day and 672 on the second. The hospital provided a comprehensive suite of free medical services, encompassing doctor consultations, blood pressure checks, vital cancer screenings, and distribution of free medicines. Patients also benefited from dental and eye examinations, along with crucial sugar and hemoglobin level testing. Specialized consultations with neurologists were available, and attendees received a meal. Furthermore, the camp offered substantial discounts on essential diagnostic services like ultrasounds. The initiative was well-received by a large number of children, women, and men seeking medical attention. Dr. Praveen Srinivasa, the hospital’s administrator, emphasized that the camp represents a sincere effort to make quality healthcare accessible to everyone, particularly those facing economic hardships. He reiterated the hospital’s commitment to organizing such camps regularly to promote health awareness and provide necessary medical support.
