
Modern Public School in Koderma organized a large-scale educational fair today, providing an essential platform for approximately 1500 students to receive comprehensive career guidance. The event was formally opened by Dr. Neera Yadav, Koderma MLA, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of distinguished guests including Mr. S.K. Jindal, Chairman of GRGI Haryana, and Mr. Tushar Roy, Koderma District Sports Officer. The Chief Guest, along with school leadership, Director Sangeeta Sharma and Principal Gurucharan Verma, were escorted to the grounds with a ceremonial procession by the school band and scouts.
The educational fair featured participation from around 25 leading higher education institutions from various parts of the country. These institutions were on hand to advise students on their academic futures and career possibilities.
Key participating universities and institutes included Global Research of Institutions (Haryana), Amity University (Jharkhand), Institute of Engineering & Management (Kolkata), Jain University (Bangalore), IILM University (Greater Noida), Marwadi University (Rajkot, Gujarat), DBS Global University (Dehradun), Chandigarh Group of Colleges (Punjab), Roorkee Institute of Technology, RKDF University (Jharkhand), ICFAI University (Jharkhand), Sage University (Indore-Bhopal), Reva University (Bangalore), Pimpri Chinchwad University (Pune), and Kalinga University (Raipur), among a host of others.
Students from the district found the fair to be extremely valuable. They engaged with representatives from different universities, obtaining detailed information on higher education options post-12th grade, selecting suitable academic streams based on their talents, and understanding future job market trends. The interactive nature of the fair allowed students to address their specific concerns and gain clarity.
Dr. Neera Yadav, the Chief Guest, advocated for the regular organization of such fairs, emphasizing their role in empowering students to make sound decisions about their careers. She pointed out that aligning educational choices with personal aptitudes is fundamental to achieving success and that events like these are crucial for providing the necessary support.
Principal Gurucharan Verma commented on the students’ positive feedback, noting their satisfaction with the insightful information received and their renewed confidence in charting their future paths. Director Sangeeta Sharma reiterated the fair’s utility for students and promised that Modern Public School would continue to introduce programs that benefit students’ academic and professional development.
The successful organization of the event was a collaborative achievement of the entire school community.
