
A beacon of faith in Koderma, the Samanta Kali Mandir in Jhumri Tilaiya, celebrated its annual Kali Puja with immense fervor and joy. The temple, illuminated with dazzling lights, welcomed devotees from far and wide, eager to participate in the time-honored tradition. Established in 1967 by the late Gangadhar Samanta, a distinguished businessman and social figure, the temple has continuously hosted this sacred puja for 56 years. The elaborate rituals, including a solemn ‘havan’, were conducted with great reverence, attracting a significant turnout. The presence of numerous women actively involved in the prayers highlighted the inclusive nature of the celebration. The enduring architectural beauty of the temple served as a spiritual anchor for all attendees.
