The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested Dr. Satish Kumar, the in-charge of the Choupahran Community Health Center in Hazaribagh, for accepting a bribe. The ACB acted upon a complaint lodged by Ujjwal Sinha, the operator of Mamta Vahan Seva. Sinha reported that Dr. Kumar demanded 3,000 rupees to approve pending bills totaling 25,000 rupees. The ACB conducted a thorough investigation before making the arrest, confirming the allegations. This incident has created a wave of concern within the health department, and the news has spread throughout the Choupahran CHC and surrounding areas.
