
The Meteorological Department in Ranchi has issued weather alerts for various districts in Jharkhand. A yellow alert has been declared for June 28th, covering 13 districts, due to the expectation of intense rainfall and thunderstorms. The districts included are Ranchi, Latehar, Lohardaga, Gumla, Khunti, Simdega, West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, Koderma, Chatra, Bokaro, Saraikela-Kharsawan, and Bokaro. An orange alert is in effect for June 29th, with heavy rainfall expected in Chatra, Hazaribagh, Latehar, Lohardaga, Ramgarh, Ranchi, and Gumla. Moreover, a yellow alert is also active in Garhwa, Palamu, Bokaro, Khunti, Simdega, West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, and Saraikela-Kharsawan, with the prediction of thunderstorms. The weather department also indicates chances of significant rainfall in nine districts on June 30th and five districts on July 1st, with associated yellow alerts.
