A severe fire at an Amul plant in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, has caused extensive damage, with the entire warehouse being destroyed. The fire erupted early Saturday morning at the plant situated in Simuldanga village on the National Highway. The fire consumed the entire storage facility along with its contents which included a large stock of milk, yogurt, butter and other products. The fire brigade responded to the scene and eventually extinguished the blaze. The factory owner is assessing the financial impact, which is believed to be in the crores of rupees. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and investigations are underway.
