
A significant academic milestone was reached at Banaras Hindu University’s (BHU) 105th Convocation Ceremony with Aman Kumar receiving his MA in Hindi Literature. Hailing from Sahibganj, Aman is the son of Ashok Kumar Sah and Shobha Devi. His educational journey included foundational studies at N.R.P. Center, followed by matriculation in 2018 and intermediate studies in science from Sahibganj College in 2020. He completed his undergraduate studies in Hindi Literature in 2023. Aman’s pursuit of postgraduate studies in Hindi at the renowned BHU was a lifelong ambition, fueled by his childhood passion for the subject. He gained admission to the MA Hindi Literature program in 2023 after successfully passing the CUET examination. Demonstrating remarkable academic acumen, Aman has qualified for the UGC NET (Assistant Professor) exam on three separate occasions. Beyond his academic achievements, Aman is a talented writer, known for his poetic contributions to various literary forums. His upcoming literary works include a novel titled ‘Banarasi Pan,’ exploring the city of Varanasi, and a poetry collection named ‘Parampara Se Muthbhed.’ Aman emphasizes the transformative power of literature, music, and art in shaping individuals and fostering a positive societal outlook. He has raised concerns regarding the decreasing engagement with books among the youth, highlighting the adverse effects of excessive reliance on electronic gadgets on creativity and effort. Aman’s civic engagement is extensive, having led district delegations in numerous national and state-level events. These include the National Integration Camp, National Youth Festival, and State Youth Festival. He also served as a Water Warrior during the Republic Day Parade on Kartavya Path and completed a specialized training program on Biodiversity Conservation with the Wildlife Institute of India. Aman attributes his accomplishments to the guidance of his educators, the unwavering support of his parents, the encouragement from his sisters Baby Gupta and Anchal Kumari, and the steadfast backing of his friends.
