
The joy of a birthday celebration turned to tragedy for three friends in Jharkhand. The friends, traveling on a motorcycle, were involved in a fatal collision with a truck near Jamtoli in the Kolebira area, close to the Gumla and Simdega border. Monu Tete, Suraj Baghwar, and Amrit Baghwar were identified as the victims. They were returning home after a birthday party at Tapkara Dam. A high-speed truck hit their motorcycle on National Highway 143. The collision resulted in two immediate fatalities, while the third friend died during treatment. Police have begun investigations to find the truck driver. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers on the road, following other recent road accidents in the region.
