The BJP in Jharkhand commemorated the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee across the state. Babulal Marandi, the state BJP President, addressed a seminar in Dhanbad where he spoke about Mukherjee’s opposition to the Congress party’s appeasement politics. Marandi praised Dr. Mukherjee’s vision and his contributions to the nation. He emphasized that Dr. Mukherjee was a staunch nationalist who stood for the unity and integrity of India. He also mentioned Mukherjee’s role as Union Minister of Industry, highlighting the Sindri fertilizer factory as a key achievement. The implementation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir was opposed by Dr. Mukherjee, according to Marandi. In Ranchi, Karmveer Singh, the State Organization General Secretary, paid respects to Dr. Mukherjee by laying a wreath on his statue and also highlighted his contribution.
