Rahul Singh, a former bodyguard of a Jharkhand minister, was arrested after firing shots in a bar following an argument about playing a Bhojpuri song. The incident caused a commotion in the bar. The bar owner informed the local police. The incident took place at the Gravity Lounge and Bar on Ratu Road. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Police responded to the situation and arrested Rahul Singh, a resident of Hinu, in the Doranda police station area of Ranchi. A licensed pistol and 21 cartridges were recovered. Singh had been demanding that the bar play a Bhojpuri song when a dispute arose, leading to the shooting. The bar manager filed a complaint against Rahul Singh at the Kotwali police station. Police are investigating the incident and pursuing legal action, including charges under the Arms Act.
