
Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with his wife, MLA Kalpana Soren, attended the memorial feast, or ‘Sanskar Bhoj,’ held in honor of the late Ramdas Soren, former Minister of School Education and Literacy. The event took place at Soren’s residence in Ghodabandha, Jamshedpur. The Chief Minister paid his respects by offering flowers at a picture of Ramdas Soren and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. He offered prayers for the peace of the departed soul and for the strength of the family during their time of grief. Hemant Soren and Kalpana Soren, the MLA, also spent time with Surajmani Soren, Ramdas Soren’s wife, and his son Somesh Chandra Soren, along with other family members, offering them comfort and support.
Addressing the media, the Chief Minister reflected on the recent passing of Ramdas Soren, which occurred shortly after the death of Guruji. He stated that the passing of both individuals represented a significant loss. He acknowledged the presence of numerous people from across the state who came to pay their respects to Ramdas Soren and conveyed his own respects and condolences.
