Following the cremation of Shibu Soren, also known as Dishom Guru, Chief Minister Hemant Soren will reside in his ancestral village of Nemra for 13 days. This period is dedicated to completing the traditional 13th-day rituals. In accordance with customary practices, he will offer prayers to the Marang Buru deity, seeking spiritual peace for his father and political mentor, Shibu Soren. The ceremonies for the departed soul will involve the participation of Hemant Soren’s wife, Kalpana Soren, his brother Basant Soren, other family members, and the local community. While in Nemra, the Chief Minister’s office will function temporarily from the village. The Ramgarh district administration is also setting up a temporary office there. Preparations are being made to provide internet access for the office operations, including the installation of a Jio setup on the existing BSNL tower in Nemra. For the past two days, district officials and police personnel have been present in Nemra, relying on walkie-talkies due to the lack of mobile network. To address this, efforts are being made to ensure seamless mobile network and internet connectivity for the next 13 days.
