Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren today formally inaugurated the 5-day Jharkhand IAS Officers Wives Association (JASOWA) Diwali Mela-2025 organized at Morahabadi Maidan, Ranchi. MLA Mrs. Kalpana Soren was also present on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren said that the Jharkhand IAS Officers Wives Association (JASOWA) has been dedicated to public welfare activities since its inception. He stated that the organization, after a long journey, is celebrating its silver jubilee today. As in previous years, this year too, the organization is grandly organizing the 5-day JASOWA Diwali Mela-2025 at the historic Morahabadi Maidan in Ranchi with great enthusiasm and fervor. JASOWA is doing excellent work in the field of education and health Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren said that the main objective of organizing the JASOWA Mela is to utilize the entire income generated from this fair for the welfare of the poor and needy and for other social upliftment activities and initiatives. This organization is doing commendable work in the fields of education and health. Today, JASOWA is also distributing honorarium among individuals doing excellent social work and inaugurating a library. The Chief Minister mentioned that while many organizations organize various fairs during festivals, and each has its own objective, JASOWA has been working for the benefit of the poor and needy since its early days, which is commendable. Chief Minister extended best wishes for excellent social efforts Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren said that JASOWA is primarily run by the wives of IAS officers of Jharkhand.
