St. Xavier’s College management has responded to recent student protests by assuring that student welfare remains paramount. The administration pledged to protect students’ interests and confirmed that an additional opportunity for promotion will be provided to students whose progress has been hindered, following all applicable rules and procedures.
Management addressed concerns about fabricated information circulating to discredit the college, noting that the number of students affected by promotion issues was inaccurately inflated. It was also clarified that the Principal and Vice-Principal’s out-of-state travel was pre-arranged and not an indication of unwillingness to engage with students.
The college reaffirmed its core value of placing student interests first and guaranteed that this principle would continue to guide its actions. Students are encouraged to proactively discuss any problems with their teachers. The administration highlighted its established systems for ongoing communication, designed to ensure student voices are heard and that interactions with educators and the college leadership are consistently constructive and beneficial.
