A woman from Harmu Housing Colony has filed a case at the Argora Police Station against Dumri MLA Jairam Mahato, citing defamation, insult, and related accusations stemming from social media posts. Uttam Kumar Mahto and Bittu Singh are also named as defendants in the case. The woman reported that a YouTube channel associated with the JLKM party published abusive and offensive content against her. Specifically, YouTuber Bittu Singh is accused of creating a video mentioning the woman’s name. The woman alleges that Uttam Kumar Mahto is associated with MLA Jairam Mahato, and that the video was made at the MLA’s request. The woman also stated that Jairam Mahato had pressured her to drop a case earlier, and as a result of not doing so, she is being socially isolated.
