The “East Tech Symposium-2025” (Defence Expo) was inaugurated at Khelgaon, Ranchi, with the presence of Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar and Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Chief Minister Soren emphasized the event’s significance, recognizing the Ministry of Defence’s efforts. He expressed hope for the success of the event in expanding the defense sector. He highlighted Jharkhand’s potential in the defense sector due to the availability of raw materials and uranium. He mentioned the presence of various industrial establishments and expressed concern over the performance of HEC. The Chief Minister stressed the importance of collaboration between the central and state governments to foster industrial growth, particularly in the defense sector. He also mentioned the presence of the CDS and recognized the efforts being made by the MSMEs. He assured that the state government would provide comprehensive support to the defense sector.
