
After an early onset of the Southwest Monsoon, bringing heavy rainfall to various states, the rains have now subsided. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts normal weather patterns for the country. Delhi-NCR and several other states are again witnessing intense heat.
Delhi is experiencing heat after rainfall. The weather department does not foresee rain in the coming days. The capital will have clear weather today, with a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 26 degrees. Temperatures may stay above 40 degrees Celsius from tomorrow, June 14, meaning Delhi residents will endure the heat for the next 5 days.
**UP’s Heat Woes**
Uttar Pradesh is suffering from the heat. Intense sunshine during the day is causing considerable heat. The weather department anticipates no rain until June 11. Heat waves may occur in Bundelkhand, Vindhya, and nearby regions from June 9-11. Easterly winds from June 11 may bring rain to eastern Uttar Pradesh.
**Bihar and Jharkhand Weather**
Bihar will see dry weather in most districts today. Patna’s maximum temperature will be 37 degrees Celsius, and the minimum 27 degrees. The weather department has issued a rain warning starting June 10, with humid heat beforehand. Temperatures may increase by up to four degrees. Ranchi, Jharkhand, and other districts could see light rain and thunderstorms in the evening.
**Heatwave in Some States, Rain in Northeast**
Heatwave conditions are expected in western Rajasthan (June 8-11), Punjab and Haryana (June 9-11), and northern Madhya Pradesh (June 9-10). Heavy rainfall is expected in South India and the Northeast from June 10. Light to moderate rain is expected in most of Northeast India for the next 7 days.
**Hills Weather**
Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh will experience intense heat. Strong sunshine in Uttarakhand’s hills contributes to the heat. Weather will rapidly change in the mountains, with rain possible in parts of Himachal Pradesh on June 12-13.
