
The Jharkhand government has announced compensation for the victims of the Deoghar bus accident. The families of the deceased will receive one lakh rupees each, while the injured will be given twenty thousand rupees. Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari made the announcement following a visit to the accident site and a meeting with the injured. The minister visited the Sadar Hospital and AIIMS to check on the well-being of the injured and their families. He also instructed the medical staff to provide the best possible care to the injured. Six people, including the driver, died in the accident, and twenty-four others were injured. Eight of the injured are being treated at AIIMS. The compensation will be provided from the Disaster Management Fund and the Baba Temple Welfare Fund. All medical expenses, including treatment, tests, and medication, will be covered. The district administration is also making arrangements to send the injured home after treatment and to transport the bodies of the deceased to their families.
