The district is buzzing with martial arts fervor as the 5th District Level Karate Championship began on Saturday at the St. Xavier Welfare Center’s Community Hall. Organized by the Sports Karate Association of West Singhbhum, the championship has attracted a remarkable 225 participants. The inaugural ceremony was a solemn affair, with Sub-Divisional Officer Sandeep Anurag Topno and Sub-Divisional Police Officer Bahaman Tuti officially opening the event. This large participation underscores the popularity and active promotion of karate in West Singhbhum, offering young athletes a valuable opportunity to hone their techniques and compete at a high level.
