Southern India and the Northeast are particularly at risk of heavy precipitation. A low-pressure system has formed over the coastal areas of West Bengal, northern Odisha, and the northern Bay of Bengal. Another low-pressure area could develop near the northwest and central Bay of Bengal around September 25. This weather pattern may cause heavy to very heavy rainfall in many states before the Dussehra festival.
Delhi is no longer experiencing rain. No rainfall is expected in the city for the next five days, until the 29th. The afternoons are warm, but the temperatures at night are normal. The sky will remain clear in Delhi until the 26th. From the 27th to the 29th, there will be partial cloud cover.
**Uttar Pradesh Weather Forecast:**
People in Uttar Pradesh are currently experiencing intense heat. According to the weather department, there may be showers and thunderstorms in eastern Uttar Pradesh today, while western Uttar Pradesh may have dry weather. Similar conditions are expected for tomorrow, with possible rain and thunderstorms in eastern Uttar Pradesh and clear skies in western Uttar Pradesh.
**Rainy Days in Bihar and Jharkhand:**
Today, Bihar’s weather is expected to be mixed. Some districts may have heavy rain, while others may experience sunshine. Heavy rain is expected in Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, Supaul, Araria, and Kishanganj. Heavy rainfall is expected in Patna, the districts of South Bihar, and the Seemanchal region. The meteorological department has issued a warning for heavy rain and lightning in the southern districts of Jharkhand for the next three days.
**Rainfall in Other States:**
Heavy to very heavy rainfall is forecast for Odisha until the 26th, and for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the 26th and 27th of September. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in Konkan, Goa, and the Ghat regions of central Maharashtra between September 25 and 29. The streets and railway yards of Kolkata are already flooded. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is possible in Kolkata until the 26th.
**Mountain Regions Weather Outlook:**
Heavy rain and strong winds are forecast for Uttarkashi, Bageshwar, Dehradun, Chamoli, Nainital, Rudraprayag, and Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand for the next 3 days. The monsoon is expected to withdraw from Himachal Pradesh soon, although rain is expected in some areas today and tomorrow.
