The decision was made in response to predictions of heavy and persistent rainfall in the coming hours, which could impact public safety and student welfare. District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi issued the order, affecting all government, private, and minority schools. The authorities have stated that the order is a precautionary measure and in the best interest of the public. Compliance with the order is mandatory, and the district administration is prepared to take action against any institution that does not adhere to the guidelines.
