
A horrific accident in Ranchi claimed the lives of a mother and her daughter who were riding a scooter. A speeding truck was involved in the collision on Kanke Road, leading to the immediate death of both victims. The accident occurred on Friday morning, sparking outrage among the local population. In response, local residents gathered at the scene, blocked the road with the victims’ bodies and bamboo barricades, causing traffic disruptions. Police from the Sakanake police station, along with additional forces, arrived to manage the crowd and restore order. The mother, employed as a nurse, was on her way to school to drop off her daughter when the incident occurred near the Joda bridge on Kanke Road. A truck carrying cement was responsible for the accident. Police are currently focused on restoring normal traffic flow on Kanke Road. They are also in communication with the protesting individuals. The police have promised to take stringent action against the truck driver. This tragic event comes shortly after another fatal accident near the Jharkhand BJP state office on Harmu Bypass Road where a car killed three members of a family.
