A cyber fraud scheme is underway targeting dairy farmers in Jharkhand, exploiting the names of government initiatives. The District Dairy Development Department has responded by lodging a complaint at the Sadar police station. The scammers, posing as the secretary to the Agriculture Minister, contacted farmers, informing them that their applications had been accepted and requesting initial payments to receive benefits. The department has issued a warning to farmers, advising them to be wary of this form of cybercrime.
