With Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath approaching, the railways are preparing for increased passenger traffic. The Ranchi Railway Division will operate 14 special trains to cater to the travel needs during the festive season. These special trains will connect to major cities in Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh. This is the first time the division will be running such a large number of special services. The primary focus of the division is passenger safety and security. Schedules for these special trains will be released shortly, including details of routes and timings. To further manage the anticipated passenger load, regular trains will also have additional coaches added. The railway authorities have formulated a special strategy to handle the expected crowds and ensure passenger safety. Task forces will be deployed at major stations, with extra RPF and GRP personnel. Strict monitoring of gate management and platform arrangements will be implemented, with senior officials overseeing the station facilities. The railway will also have senior officers on special duty at key stations to ensure passenger convenience and efficient train operations.
