
In a significant step towards the Ghatshila Assembly by-election 2025, the first randomization of micro-observers has been successfully completed. This pivotal phase of electoral preparation took place at the District Collectorate, overseen by General Observer Rakhi Biswas and District Election Officer Karn Satyarthi. The Ghatshila constituency, featuring 300 polling stations, will go to polls on November 11th. A total of 36 micro-observers have been selected through this randomization process to ensure close monitoring, with six additional observers covering 30 designated high-priority polling locations. Their final assignments will be determined on November 9th. The District Election Officer stressed that micro-observers are vital for guaranteeing a free, fair, and orderly election, and reiterated the need for strict adherence to all Election Commission protocols.
