
Kiran Public School in Koladiha, Giridih, has proudly launched the Birsa Munda Football Academy, marking a new era for youth football in the region. The inauguration ceremony was a star-studded affair, with the Sub-Divisional Officer, Shrikanth Yashwant Vispute, as the chief guest. He officially commenced the academy’s activities by participating in a football game alongside school Chairman Ashok Kumar Singh, Balwinder Singh Saluja, Purushottam Mishra, Principal Raghav Bhokta, Director Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Jharkhand Football Association General Secretary Ghulam Rabbani, and Councilor Nurul Hoda. In his address, SDO Vispute emphasized the symbiotic relationship between physical activity and mental acuity, highlighting sports as a vital tool for instilling discipline and maintaining health. He commended the school’s forward-thinking approach in establishing the academy. Ghulam Rabbani expressed his optimism about the academy’s prospects, anticipating that its trainees would achieve prominence not just at the state level but on the world stage, and pledged support from the state football body. The school’s chairman outlined the institution’s unwavering commitment to fostering holistic growth, mentioning recent additions like a shooting range and planned basketball training, alongside existing cricket facilities, all aimed at nurturing well-rounded individuals.
