A woman in Ranchi, Jharkhand, fell prey to a scam where she lost her gold jewelry to two fraudsters. The incident occurred in the Sadar police station area. The con artists tricked Savita Devi, a resident of Kokar, with the promise of cleaning her ornaments. They made off with her gold earrings, a ring, and a gold chain after she entrusted them with her valuables. The victim has lodged a complaint at the Sadar police station.
The police are actively investigating the case and attempting to identify the suspects. They are also analyzing CCTV footage from the crime scene to assist in their investigation. The incident took place at Savita Devi’s house in Bandhagadi. Two individuals arrived, stating they represented a company and had a product for cleaning jewelry and items made from precious metals.
