Grizzly School is beaming with pride following the remarkable success of its athletes at the 69th SGFI National School Games 2025-26 selection trials. The students captured several gold medals, establishing their dominance and securing a place in the national competition, thereby enhancing the prestige of the school and Koderma district. The rigorous selection process, held at Ranchi’s Ganpat Rai Indoor Stadium within the Khelgaon Mega Sports Complex, saw over 200 athletes from Jharkhand participating. Under the meticulous training of coach Saurav Kumar Pathak, seven athletes from Grizzly School demonstrated exceptional talent and competitive spirit. The standout performers included Pankaj Raj, Piyush Kumar, Abhishek Kumar Yadav, and Sachin Kumar Yadav, who all earned gold medals for their first-place finishes. Shrikanth Gupta, Adarsh Kumar, and Devanshu Kumar also achieved success, securing third-place medals. This outstanding collective effort has resulted in the qualification of four Grizzly School athletes for the upcoming 69th SGFI National School Games. Pankaj Raj and Piyush Kumar will compete in the Under-14 category, while Abhishek Yadav and Sachin Kumar Yadav have qualified for the Under-19 category. School leadership commended the athletes for their dedication and hard work, highlighting their performance as an inspiration to all students. The school community eagerly anticipates their performance at the national level, confident that they will represent Grizzly School and Jharkhand with distinction.
