The agenda also encompassed SHG formation, credit linkage, Mudra loans, livestock programs, producer groups, DDU-GKY, and PMFME.
Deputy Commissioner Singh stressed the urgency of enhancing PD generation and instructed Block Development Officers (BDOs) and Block Programme Officers (BPOs) to identify and onboard poor families onto MGNREGA for improved labor day generation. He underscored the critical need for prompt and complete closure of all pending and legacy projects. The DC also called for synergistic coordination with the Animal Husbandry Department for livestock scheme approvals and emphasized the importance of ground-level surveys to capture data from deserving beneficiaries. A directive was issued to ensure PVTG communities benefit from MGNREGA-funded toilet construction.
Maintaining nutritional gardens in educational institutions and Anganwadi centers was prioritized. BPOs were tasked with ensuring 100% fulfillment of job card applications submitted through the ‘Government at Your Doorstep’ campaign and to conduct surveys for issuing job cards to eligible non-cardholders. The completion of outstanding works under the Poto Ho Khel Vikas Yojana was also highlighted. The Deputy Commissioner instructed BDOs to conduct regular site visits to Anganwadi centers, cross-referencing physical progress with digital records. A thorough review of JSLPS activities involved seeking reports on bank linkages and addressing self-help group insurance matters.
Key areas of discussion also included expediting Aadhaar verification for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, boosting efforts in PD generation and vermicompost production, streamlining material distribution, accelerating progress on older schemes, and ensuring the effective implementation of Panchayati Raj services. The meeting saw participation from the Deputy Development Commissioner, trainee IAS officers, Panchayati Raj officials, BDOs, BPOs, BPMs, and coordinators of various schemes.
