A death threat has been issued to Jharkhand’s Health Minister, Dr. Irfan Ansari. The threat was delivered via a phone call made around midnight on Sunday from an unidentified mobile number, 7005758247. At the time of the call, Minister Ansari was at the Bokaro Circuit House, where he was on official duty. The caller used abusive language, threatening to kill the minister. The caller told him to ‘just wait’ and that he would be ‘eliminated’ soon. The minister has reported the incident to the authorities.
