A man in Ranchi, Jharkhand, has been arrested for murdering his cousin, who was having an affair with the suspect’s wife. The victim, Somnath Oraon, was in a relationship with his cousin’s wife. The husband, Jharia Oraon, objected to the affair. However, the illicit relationship persisted, leading to the murder. The incident took place in the Narkopi police station area. The victim’s mother, Kameshwari Devi, filed a case at the Narkopi police station. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed, leading to the arrest of the suspect and revealing the details of the murder after intense interrogation.
