
An unsettling event unfolded in the Lohardaga district of Jharkhand, where a husband murdered his wife, concealed her body within their home, and remained living there. The crime was brought to light when a foul smell started spreading from the house. Neighbors, concerned about a possible mishap, informed the local police. The police took Raghurao into custody and interrogated him, after which he confessed to the murder.
Raghurao, a resident of Bhithha village in the Bhandara police station area, is alleged to have murdered his wife, Phoolo Uraon. After the murder, he buried her body inside a room in their house and continued to live there. The incident came to light when a foul odor began emanating from the house. Locals informed the police, suspecting something terrible had happened. The police reached the location and apprehended Raghurao. After intense questioning, he admitted to strangling his wife, Phoolo Uraon, and burying her body in the house.
