Tomorrow, Delhi might face rain and thunderstorms, with a yellow alert for October 6th, indicating the possibility of storms. Similar weather is expected on October 7th.
Uttar Pradesh is experiencing a renewed spell of rain. Today, eastern Uttar Pradesh is likely to witness thunderstorms and showers in many areas. An orange alert has been issued for multiple districts in eastern UP. From tomorrow through October 7th, western UP is projected to receive more rainfall compared to the eastern parts. Some areas of western UP may also experience hailstorms and heavy rain on October 6th and 7th.
Bihar has seen torrential rain since the start of the week. The weather department has issued a red alert for all regions of North Bihar. The current forecast suggests rain will persist in the state until October 5th. Rain is also anticipated in various districts of Jharkhand, including Dumka, with some districts under an orange alert.
Heavy rainfall has triggered a red alert from the weather department for the Himalayan areas of West Bengal and Sikkim. Adverse weather is expected in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh on October 5th and 6th. Heavy rainfall is possible in the higher regions of Himachal Pradesh, prompting a weather department alert. Kashmir witnessed its first snowfall of the season.
Weather conditions in Uttarakhand could shift rapidly. Light to moderate rain is expected in some districts today. The districts of Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, and Nainital are likely to see light to moderate rainfall.
