
Jharkhand is proudly celebrating its 25th Foundation Day, an occasion marked by enthusiastic cultural festivities across its districts. Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, and Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi have extended their felicitations to the state’s populace. Governor Gangwar conveyed his wishes via X, expressing, ‘Completing 25 years is a moment of pride, reflecting our significant strides in diverse sectors. I wish for the continued prosperity and progress of Jharkhand.’ Chief Minister Soren highlighted the historical context, stating, ‘On Jharkhand’s 25th Foundation Day, we honor the struggles and sacrifices of those who shaped our state. Drawing inspiration from figures like Birsa Munda and the Santhal Hool martyrs, Jharkhand is making strides in development, cultural preservation, and establishing its unique identity. The current administration is committed to women’s empowerment, youth employment, education, and family welfare.’ Babulal Marandi described Jharkhand as a land of immense natural beauty, cultural richness, and vast mineral wealth, a unique blend of diversity. He added, ‘The legacy of our tribal freedom fighters serves as a constant source of inspiration. I pray for Jharkhand’s sustained growth, remarkable achievements, and the happiness of all its citizens.’
