Garhwa, Jharkhand, witnessed a flurry of infrastructure development as Union Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated the Rehla Four-lane road and laid the foundation stones for two national highway projects, totaling an investment of ₹2460 crore. The event was attended by Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore and MP Vishnu Dayal Ram. Gadkari’s schedule also included a visit to the Birsa Chowk to pay respects, and then he proceeded to inaugurate the Ratu Road Elevated Corridor, with a cost of ₹558 crore. A public meeting at the OTC ground will follow, and a review of NH projects with officials at Hotel Radisson Blu is also scheduled. Gadkari’s visit will conclude with his departure from the airport at 6:45 PM.
