
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren presided over an appointment letter distribution and merit recognition ceremony at the secretariat सभागार, where he presented letters to newly appointed educators and honored top students. Recipients included teachers, assistant professors, and lab assistants, as well as high-achieving students from the JAC, CBSE, ICSE, and CM School of Excellence, and successful participants in the Akanksha Coaching program. The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to enhancing Jharkhand’s educational standing. He highlighted the effectiveness of recent initiatives in improving the education system, with the goal of raising standards. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of collective effort in advancing Jharkhand’s development. He discussed ongoing efforts to fortify the education system, including existing and future projects, to provide better resources to schools and offer students modern education. Among the announcements was the conversion of Netarhat Residential School into a co-educational institution, allowing girls to enroll. The government also plans to open three additional schools, modeled after Netarhat, which has adopted CBSE affiliation and English-medium instruction. The goal is to ensure that students in government schools receive an education comparable to that offered by private institutions. The Chief Minister discussed the competitive environment, noting past challenges faced by government schools. The government is focused on improving the quality of government schools, as exemplified by the Chief Minister’s Excellence Schools. He stated that the high demand for enrollment at these schools proves the effectiveness of government schools. Students are encouraged through various initiatives, including financial incentives, laptops, and mobile phones for top performers. Honorariums for top-performing students will be provided immediately after results are released to aid in their further studies. The Chief Minister presented appointment letters to select newly appointed staff. Top students from JAC, CBSE, and ICSE boards received awards, laptops, and smartphones, with JAC board toppers also receiving scooters. Toppers from the CM School of Excellence were also recognized. Schools with outstanding 10th-grade results were honored, and successful students from the Akanksha Coaching program were acknowledged, along with schools recognized under the School Accreditation Scheme.
