Dr. Kushwaha Shashibhushan Mehta, the BJP MLA from Panki, Jharkhand, voiced his discontent after not being allotted a room at the Jharkhand Bhawan in Delhi. In a video, he stated that he had reserved two rooms. However, he was informed that only one room was booked in his name. The MLA protested by sitting on the floor near the reception and eating his breakfast there. He also raised concerns about the operation of the Jharkhand Bhawan, which was constructed with considerable investment, and called on Chief Minister Hemant Soren to address the issue. The modern building, inaugurated in September 2024, has state-of-the-art facilities and offers 50 guest rooms including suites for dignitaries.
