
The people of Jharkhand gathered to honor the late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP, at Nemra village on Monday. The event saw a large turnout, with individuals from all over the state coming to pay their respects. At the ancestral home of Chief Minister Hemant Soren in Nemra, tributes were offered, with attendees placing flowers before a picture of the late Guruji. Both common citizens and notable figures joined in the ceremony, reflecting the widespread respect for Soren. Many attendees took the opportunity to express their condolences to Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
The seventh day of the Shradh ceremony of the late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren saw a constant stream of people arriving at his ancestral home in Nemra from early in the morning. Remembering the life and work of Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, people acknowledged his remarkable contribution to the creation of Jharkhand. They stated that the people of Jharkhand would forever be grateful for his efforts. Guruji devoted his life to uplifting the tribal, poor, Dalit, exploited, and marginalized communities. His struggle, ideals, and the path he showed will continue to inspire the people of the state. Dishom Guru Shibu Soren will be remembered as a people’s leader, not only in Jharkhand but across the entire country. Those who paid their respects included state ministers, MPs, MLAs, former ministers, MPs, and MLAs, along with many other dignitaries.
