The Karam Puja Mahotsav-2025 was graced by Chief Minister Hemant Soren and MLA Kalpana Soren at the Ranchi Women’s College. The Chief Minister performed the traditional puja at the Karam Dali, seeking blessings for the prosperity and well-being of the people of Jharkhand. Soren emphasized the strong connection between the people and their traditions and culture, highlighting that various communities advance with their customs. He commended the tribal community for celebrating the Karam festival, showcasing their unique cultural identity. He acknowledged the dedication of the women in continuing the tradition, regardless of the weather. He underlined that the Karam festival embodies the rich cultural heritage, civilization, and lifestyle, symbolizing the bond between siblings, social cohesion, and respect for nature. He concluded by expressing his hope that future generations would carry forward this tradition with respect and harmony. The event saw the presence of dignitaries such as Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, Jharkhand Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey, and MLA Kalpana Soren.
