
On the occasion of Karma Puja, a significant nature festival, the Governor of Jharkhand, the Chief Minister, and the Leader of Opposition have extended their best wishes to the residents of the state. Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar expressed his greetings, recognizing the festival’s importance in fostering the relationship between siblings, and conveying a message of environmental protection and balance. He wished everyone health, happiness, and success.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren offered his congratulations, emphasizing Karma Puja as a representation of Jharkhand’s rich culture and traditions. He highlighted the festival’s role in strengthening ties, promoting social harmony, and demonstrating respect for nature. The Chief Minister further added that the festival provides an opportunity to seek blessings for well-being, good harvests, and a healthy society.
He emphasized the importance of the interconnectedness of life with nature. He called on the people to preserve their customs, fortify society, and protect the environment while wishing everyone peace, prosperity, and happiness.
Babulal Marandi, the BJP State President and Leader of Opposition, also shared his best wishes, acknowledging Karma Puja as a symbol of tribal culture, traditions and their deep association with nature. He encouraged people to learn from tribal practices and their love for nature, strengthening the collective commitment towards environmental conservation and social cohesion.
