Tragedy struck in Khunti district, Jharkhand, as a motorcycle ride ended in a deadly assault. On Friday night, two friends were attacked by assailants. One of the victims was killed, while the other sustained serious injuries. The attackers reportedly threw chili powder into the eyes of the riders before attacking them with a sharp weapon. Local villagers informed the police, who arrived at the scene promptly. The body of the deceased has been taken for a post-mortem examination. The police have opened a case and are actively searching for the perpetrators. The victims, returning from Saiko market, were ambushed near Kochadih village. Choyta Sarukud was killed, while Singa Munda was injured. The perpetrators fled the location after the attack.
