A violent stabbing incident marred the Durga Puja immersion in Chakradharpur, Chaibasa. Seven youths participating in the immersion procession were attacked by approximately 15 individuals. The attack occurred near the Harijan Basti pandal. The assailants used knives, inflicting injuries on multiple victims before fleeing the scene. One of the injured is currently in critical condition. The attack took place close to the local police station. The victims, identified as Dhruv Mukhi, Govinda Mukhi, Dinesh Mukhi, Rikki Mukhi, Atul Mukhi, Aman Mukhi, and Ajay Mukhi, sustained multiple stab wounds. Rikki Mukhi is in serious condition. All injured individuals are being treated at the Chakradharpur Railway Hospital.
