
Lohardaga hosted its annual State Foundation Day celebrations, combined with a vibrant development fair. A highlight of the event was Agriculture Minister Neha Shilpi Tirkey’s distribution of assets totaling ₹4.92 crore, alongside the inauguration and foundation stone-laying for new projects. The Deputy Commissioner felicitated Minister Tirkey with a souvenir. In her address, the minister eloquently spoke about the historical significance of Jharkhand’s formation, emphasizing the profound sacrifices and the enduring spirit of its people. She highlighted the state’s impressive developmental strides, attributing them to collaborative efforts. The minister took the opportunity to inquire about the status of government initiatives and paid tribute to the statehood movement’s key figures. Looking ahead, she conveyed that the present government is poised to deliver significant improvements for the people of Jharkhand, which will soon be evident across the state.
