
Jharkhand is set to establish a state-of-the-art Jharkhand Bhawan in Navi Mumbai, complementing the existing one in Delhi. The project, estimated at around 136 crore rupees, will be situated in the Vashi area of Mumbai. The new Bhawan will offer premium facilities, including dedicated suites for the Governor and Chief Minister, as well as executive and deluxe rooms to cater to VIP and special guests. Construction is expected to be finalized within a two-year timeframe.
The planned seven-story structure will be built on plot number 2C, Sector 30A, Vashi, occupying 63.65 decimal of land. The building will feature a basement and ground floor. The basement will have parking facilities for 27 cars and 137 bikes. The ground floor is designed to include a dining hall, pantry, kitchen, gym-locker room, and a VIP waiting lounge. The first floor will house a VIP waiting lounge, seminar hall, and exhibition hall. The second floor will accommodate the Resident Secretary’s chambers, meeting rooms, and waiting areas. The third and fourth floors will each contain 10 dormitories, each with a capacity of 57 beds. The fifth floor will provide 19 deluxe rooms for special guests. The sixth floor will feature nine executive rooms for very important guests. The seventh floor will be reserved for the Governor and Chief Minister, with dedicated spaces such as a Chief Minister’s chamber, master bedrooms, living rooms, a dining area, a seating area, and a meeting room.
